There's an official Garbage Day Bluesky account now.
Hi Bluesky
Clavicular, the Gen Z looksmaxxer who loves meth and hitting himself in the face with a hammer, is too stupid to realize he's ignited a war between two factions of far-right weirdos.

After two weeks deep inside the Epstein files, I've come to view his operation as something close to an elder abuse scheme. Pitching old oligarchs on the collapse of the global order as a way to fund his sex trafficking operation.

So this is news to me. In the lead up to the 2018 Brazilian election, Jair Bolsonaro claimed he was not working with Steve Bannon. It turns out he was working with both Bannon AND Jeffrey Epstein.

Big weekend for Clavicular. His cortisol levels were spiked by foids while he was jestergooning and chadfishing in the club. And then he got ragebaited by the King of Scottsdale.

Huh! These appear to be emails between Jeffrey Epstein and Zubair Khan, the CEO of Tranchulas, a multinational cybersecurity firm, about the 2016 US election. Seems like Epstein was paying Khan to scrape tweets for him, trying to predict the election.

It also feels like an impossible story to cover in its entirety. There’s nothing you can write, at least that any mainstream outlet would publish, that feels sweeping enough to capture everything that needs to be said about the Epstein files, so each piece you reads feels so unsatisfying
The Epstein files are, as far as I can tell, one of the biggest stories in America right now. And the media IS covering them. But everyone is also complaining that the media isn't covering them. This was a very explicit goal of the Epstein Network's destablization plan and it should worry you.

In an email to Peter Thiel in 2016 about Brexit he pitches societal collapse as an investment opportunity:

"Brexit, just the beginning... return to tribalism. Counter to globalization. Amazing new alliances... finding things on their way to collapse was much easier than finding the next bargain."
The central question of the Epstein files is: Conspiracy to do what? A lot of people want to infer that it was a conspiracy to run the world, but the evidence suggests it was a conspiracy to keep the party going.

The narrative that the ruling class "went insane" during COVID was apparently not totally accurate. In actuality, they all believed that the Me Too movement killed their beloved pedophile fixer and lockdown just delayed them eventually punishing us all for it.

"Populist politics, online disinformation, cyber warfare, & cryptocurrency were all just scaffolding for his work as a financier and sex trafficker. A way to destabilize the global order, make connections with the world’s elites, and continue enriching himself and preying on vulnerable young girls."
I read thousands of pages of Epstein files this weekend trying to understand what he wanted out of his meeting with 4chan's Christopher Poole. Here's everything we know about Epstein's plans to dismantle the internet and, eventually, democracy.

I’m also technically joining the general strike tomorrow but dozens of readers just told me they have no idea what day Tabs is supposed to come out (or, often, what day it is at all) so I’m not sure it means very much coming from me.

I recognize that this might make us seem like less “objective” journalists, but we have a responsibility as Americans. I, also, don’t really give a shit anymore. And neither does my team. We're joining the general strike tomorrow.

The idea that anti-ICE protesters believe in their cause is really hard for right-wingers to accept. Not because they don't believe in their own cause, but because they can't outwardly say what it is — a fascist ethnostate. An opposing side that can communicate clearly with itself is threatening.
James O’Keefe responds to a comment

“Figured they (ICE protesters) were being paid…”

O’Keefe:

“No, it's more terrifying than that. It's not transactional.

They actually believe in their cause.

That truth is going to be hard for most people to understand or accept.”

Beyond the obvious fact this is all meant to bend the knee to Trump, it's also a fascinating experiment: Can the personalities and formats popular online work on TV? Will it even matter if they work on TV if the clips perform well? It's the internet/TV showdown that we've been building to for years.
Here, in three posts, are the written remarks by Bari Weiss at today's CBS News town hall meeting. Part one of three:
