fun fact: LeBron James has played against 35% of all NBA players. As in "all players to play in the NBA, ever"
I am not as astonished as I should be by how thoroughly LeBron has remained LeBron into his forties. I know he'll just retire whenever he wants to do other stuff, but it is fun to think about how long he could be an effective rotation guy. I think he could still be a solid stretch four type at 48.

Goodnight, sweet prince.
Eric Adams is amazing because when he won every media person was leaping over each to go “this is the normal sane leadership that the political left doesn’t understand normal sane Americans crave” and then every day since that Eric Adams has been like “Leprechauns are real and I’m going to cook one”

What Mathnet failed to instill in me when it comes to math skills, it succeeded in instilling a wider range of pop culture references than our mostly PBS watching household would not have had otherwise
The gritty modern reboot to MATHNET that we've needed for some time.

Starting tomorrow, every moment of silence from Olivia Chow is a gift to Brad Bradford...and John Tory. You can bet he's paying close attention to how she manages the pre-campaign period. Tory knows he can steal all of Bradford's numbers in a heartbeat if Chow leaves the window open long enough.

You know that runner in Toronto that races streetcars? The City put in dedicated lanes on Bathurst, and he re-raced it

“This used to be the slowest route. Now it’s the closest race I’ve done. I never thought I’d say this. But I’m really surprised. There’s hope: for the streetcars and for the city.”

Mac Bauer’s racing activism has made ‘signal priority’ and traffic congestion a big talking point for the Canadian city

I would bet 98% of the people yelling about Chappell Roan right now also didn’t know about Brigitte Bardot’s whole deal before yesterday.
A lot of people expect more from Chappell Roan than they do from their own elected officials

The Second-Order Streisand Effect is a social phenomenon where if a party makes an effort to censor information, discussion and news about the censorship paradoxically leads to an increased awareness of Barbara Streisand, a musician whom most "Zoomers" would probably have otherwise never heard of

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
