I mean there’s endings I like more like all of the Eva endings and Madoka Magica’s bittersweet ending that makes me cry just thinking about it…but I’d like to give special mention to Cowboy Bebop because genuinely that ending IMPROVES the other episodes on rewatch, it recontextualizes everything.
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

How many rust belt cities successfully halted if not reversed their declines because of their universities and academic institutions? Pittsburgh is the poster child, but Baltimore owes a lot to this too. This is going to be a completely man-made disaster for them.
