Okay I’m gonna be honest, people are hating on the new Running Man, and it’s weak by Wright standards, and uneven as all hell. But I kinda thought it was okay. At least as a popcorn action comedy with obvious as hell commentary. Wasn’t ever bored.

I just found out Breaking Bad was shot on 35mm film print and that pisses me off because it means some incredibly high quality 4K scans in a box set COULD happen…but currently there are no plans, and most complete blu rays available for sale are repackages and bootlegs.

Matthew Stafford is the MVP so far, right? 21 TDs only 2 INTs, sixth place in Passer Rating, tenth place QBR, second highest yards per game, sixth place in total yards, even low in sacks.
Really the only competition is Mahomes but with less TDs, more INTs, worse record.

What I’m discovering today is that people actually hate if a video essay or documentary doesn’t tell them exactly how to feel and instead just has a conversation. To them criticizing anything is only useful to change or alter it, with no value in the conversation itself.

Sometimes I get annoyed about a filmmaker making a 2 hour movie “just for the vibes” and then I realize that it’s just because I watch movies a certain way. Because this YouTube video is just “for the vibes” and I love it, but probably bc I’m not watching it like a narrative film.

I hate talking about electoral politics because it constantly feels like an emperor's new clothes situation. Because people talk like all you have to do is vote and that'll change everything, and you should vote, but recognize that each vote does not count the same.
