I am reminded of the near-constant incandescent howls of rage from conservatives when Michelle Obama helmed efforts to get healthier food in schools.

I understand why people are exhausted by AI hype, and why those of us squarely in the corner of "human dignity uber alles" see AI doomerism as self-serving hype, but I *really* think people on the left broadly need to start thinking seriously about the possibiltiy of the hype being...true.

Me: I could probably lose some weight if I just didn’t eat a couple cookies most days and drink a six-pack a week
