Being EXTREMELY clear: Underdog does not adopt out animals that have not been surrendered. This is a charity organization that fosters pets for owners whose emergent circumstances mean they can’t care for. A common example is DV survivors unable to take pets to DV shelters.

So I know there are so many people in need of help right now, but my sister’s animal rescue has for years operated out of volunteer foster homes.
She has always made it a mission to help take in animals for people who would otherwise have to surrender them. She is seeing a growing need due to ICE.
