Still processing the inanity of this cave, like, "We're going to make Republicans go on record that they want to destroy the ACA." You mean the motherfuckers who radicalized in opposition to it & voted to repeal it, like, 22 times? You're finally getting them on record? Really impressed over here

This does explain why the ideas this guy comes up with for his rockets literally can't get off the ground.

In 2017, the Supreme Court pretended that Trump's Muslim ban wasn't actually a Muslim ban even though Trump kept on insisting it was a Muslim ban.
While the president's Solicitor General argues to the Supreme Court that the cornerstone of the president's power to impose tariffs is that they are not revenue raising...

Yes, Justice Gorsuch is very good when it comes to the rights of Native Americans.

He's shitty on literally everything else.
Justices Gorsuch and Thomas, who never agree on anything concerning federal Indian law, agree that the federal government doesn't have plenary power over Native nations. This is a remarkable joint statement that should lead Justice Thomas to revisit a hell of a lot of things he has previously said

What the fuck has the White House done since January 20 to make you believe they give a shit about working with you on anything?
Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

Even the Dem centrists at Third Way are mad about the deal moderate Senate Dems cut with Republicans to end the shutdown:

"We should not have surrendered until we received at least something tangible on lowering health care costs."

Either the Democratic leadership is so shitty at leadership that they lost almost 20% of the caucus on this vote or they consented to a surrender. Those are the only two options.
Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.

There will always be "moderate" Democratic Senators who are retiring or whose re-elections are 4+ years away that will sink any goal of the Democratic base.

That's been obvious for years (e.g., Manchin and Sinema during the Biden administration).

the lesson which MAGA and the GOP learned from the past week: double-down on the cruelty, terror and consolidation of power before the midterms.
New:

On The Gateway Pundit's podcast yesterday, Stewart Rhodes announced he's relaunching the Oath Keepers

He also urged Trump to “call us up as a militia" & "order us all to come together in our counties under his command."

Someone (probably a bot) keeps on trying to access my Instagram account, which I haven't used in years.

Now I can't log in and just delete it because there have been too many suspicious login attempts.

In order to "recover" my account, I have to download the Instagram app.

Everything is a scam.

When a country is sliding into a dictatorship, standing up to the wannabe dictator is the strategy AND the goal. Delaying his consolidation of power using any tool available is of paramount importance.

Winning policy battles should not be a goal, no matter how righteous that policy is.

This is the exact argument for Medicare for All. Except Republicans are using it to force healthcare savings accounts down our throats, which will result in a sicker population, substandard overly-expensive care and substantially more bankruptcies.
