So as history shows us, ignoring white supremacists let’s them grow, kill, and even win elections. The only way for them to disappear is for us to confront it head on.
I do understand why people are writing about them, given they are in prominent roles in the president’s administration (including the president himself). Nevertheless, I don’t want to read about white supremacists! I want them to disappear!
Last piece of the year y'all! This one is a must read.

@shaneburley.bsky.social takes a deep deep dive into Richard Spencer's rebrand in order to illuminate the fringe right's movement dynamics, influence on the mainstream, and political impasses.

Just was recommended this book when I started a Reddit thread looking for Jewish horror books, not a particularly common phenomenon. It’s fabulous, with a mature OTS story that also does honor chassidic communities and our folklore bits also a quick and fun read, so I highly recommend it!
My novella *Dybbuk in the Doorway* is eligible for the Literary Nasty Award for Long Fiction! Takes a second to vote and I would be super appreciative if you would nominate my book! It's on KU and I think it is my most potent and best written work yet.

So I’m going to put together a reading list for my favorite reads on Irish Republicanism and the war of the North, but I’m curious to hear other folks favorite. Drop a recommendation, and that includes books on loyalism. Also curious which one you recommend if someone will only read one.

Thread. This is a crucial thing for non-Christian Americans to understand. Most Christian Nationalists think it’s an act of kindness on their part to tell you that you will be going to hell if you don’t convert. It’s incomprehensible to most of them that they’re being bigots.
I'm going to tell my favorite story again about reflecting the certainty of beliefs back at people who don't expect it.

A friend was one of the few Jews on faculty at a North Dakota University. Every year, his colleague in religious studies would invite him to come to his religious studies class...

Just imagine if people who weren’t Christian’s spoke with the blunt, imperialistic certainty of American Christians. You might then be accused of running an anti-Christian pogrom
always after he explained what he believed as a Jew, he was barraged by emails from concerned students asking why he didn't believe Jesus was the son of God. And he said,

"Well there's a very simple answer to why I don't believe Jesus is the son of God."

"Because he's not."
