"....the shipwreck’s cargo of highly dangerous guncotton. The Italians were tasked with removing it.

It probably came as no comfort to the crew of Artiglio that they were 100% successful in this ambition."

Almost Shakespearean 🤣🤣
Delighted to see the SS Richard Montgomery surfacing on Blue Sky, and you might be wondering why people were so nervous about salvaging its cargo.

The data points we have are... not encouraging.

Can someone who knows someone at the Beeb get them to take a look at the third Q before they respond to Trump
OK this is amazing.
Trump’s Truth Social has its own AI search tool, which company debuted a month after Trump signed an exec order to end use of “Woke AI” in federal government.
Here's how it responds to questions about tariffs, who won 2020 election, Jan 6, etc:

Hey @themrbibby.bsky.social we could nick Toms stink pot and go doff our caps for old times sakes!
Have I sailed as close as you are legally allowed to do to have a nose at the SS Montgomery?

Of course.

Moment I knew she existed, I was out there faster than Jay Hulme when he spots a rickety ladder in a church.

Here she is:

How low can you go removing memorials?

1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

Cost offsetting.

You pay. They profit. Simple.

Let's just give Ineos the plastic back so they can dispose if it safely.
Pollution from Ineos’s Antwerp plastic plant ‘will cause more deaths than jobs created’.

But shareholders will be richer.

Chemicals seep into water supply and companies don't invest in waste disposal.

Just listened to a bit of the Attorney General getting totally owned by SC judges.

He was wriggling like live bait on a hook.

That was painful. Especially if you are a #MAGA #Trumpikin

But they'll probably drag their feet for 6 months or more before ruling.

Reality is tariffs are failing in all of their objectives except raising revenue (for the state and for Trump family via pay-offs) in a manner you expect of a dysfunctional government. Mob tactics are no basis for an economy.
Stocks will likely rise if the Supreme Court kills the tariffs because it’s more money in companies’ (and your) pockets.

Evidence? When he announces tariffs, stocks tend to fall.

A particularly important result: the Dems retained all three seats on the PA supreme court which means the GOP can't get a majority before 2028.

State supreme courts matter a lot in the fair running of Presidential elections and PA is one of the key swing states.
