The way Chris pincher has been basically been erased from boris downfall is really instructive in Westminster culture and how these people get away with it
I see we're back to "Johnson resigned because of a party" and not because he employed a known sex pest, lied about what he knew, and more than half his cabinet resigned as a result.

UK politics and political commentary just seems to be permanently drunk and in need of a lie down. It really doesn’t have to be this stupid, nor is it this stupid in most sensible grown up countries.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

“The more Trump dominates the global agenda, the better Europe looks and the harder it becomes for Farage to argue that his brand of politics would make Britain safer, richer or more secure”

Well yes. The longest - FFS, wake up! - call to British voters ever…

7yo asked me for my favourite punctuation mark; so I told him semicolon (obviously) and yesterday sought me out in great excitement to tell me that he’d seen a semicolon! in a book!

A retired judge dates the change to 2016, the Brexit referendum, & the Daily Mail's front page vilification of judges as 'enemies of the people', the article says.

There's also a TV report for foreign affairs magazine Weltspiegel [link embedded in linked article].

Speaking of the Norwegian red hats everyone is knitting: knitters have raised over $300k for MN by buying the $5 pattern.

And symbols (like red hats) are a vital part of any resistance movement. They are used to unite members and serve as a visible display of opposition to the regime.
