Senate Dems have tainted themselves to the point the rest of the party wants no association with them.

If you're a Senate Dem and don't want to go down as a Surrender Dem who betrayed us all, demand Chuck Schumer be removed as leader. ASAP. This is your only path to redemption.
Interesting that NY gov Kathy Hochul felt compelled to put out a statement against Dems' deal to end the shutdown

SNAP embarrassed him. So now he's against SNAP. SNAP is now the James Comey of government assistance programs.
President Trump criticized the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) during a Fox News interview tonight, saying people "get it automatically now so the number is many times what it should be, it's disgraceful."
Trump says "we can reform" SNAP
"SNAP is supposed to be if you are down and out," Trump said on Fox News this evening.

We waste so much energy holding their feet to the fire to keep them from co-signing our deaths and the destruction of this nation. Imagine if they were our allies and freed up all of that bandwidth to fight the fascists and also spared us so much heartache.
Every few weeks we gotta make posts like this”call your dem reps to tell them to not vote to allow Lord Killdude to shove people into a volcano” and then the dem reps go “we’ve made an amazing deal where Lord Killdude can have his volcano so long as he promises not to shove people into it”

My 20-something kids realizing when they age off our health insurance, there will be nothing for them. Nothing to buy in the marketplace. No Medicaid. Most jobs don't offer FTE/benefits now.

@healthcareforallor.bsky.social is the way forward. Oregon can blaze the trail for universal healthcare.

This hidden provision is so crooked and selfish, it doesn't even apply to US Representatives. Just US Senators.
Look at this new outrage. To open govt, we're retroactively letting 8 Senators sue for $500K each over having had their J6 phone toll records looked at. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/10/u...

Dem Senators aren't for us unless they're for removing Chuck Schumer. Now is the time to highlight corruption in the Dem caucus and clean house.

Too many Senate Dems are bought and paid for and will fuck us and our entire democracy for their greed and the dark $$ that controls them.

The shutdown deal includes a ban on hemp products that none of its negotiators debated in public.

Disappointing that only 24 senators voted against killing an amendment to strike that ban.

Dark money. Corporate profit. AIPAC. Corruption. When the GOP were fed "drain the swamp" by Tr*mp...it wasn't off the mark, it's just that MAGA forgot that the GOP in govt are also the swamp. Just enough truth to seduce voters.

We will never have representation while $$$ controls our electeds.
It is the abject hypocrisy we're all exhausted by. He made $1 million in stock trades in one month and takes money from Netanyahu/AIPAC. www.nasdaq.com/articles/net...

September 9th. SEPTEMBER 9th! This capitulation was a forgone conclusion. SAVE THE EXCUSES.
I realize that it would be a lot easier for all of you, if your base was a bunch of Fux Noise viewers, but too bad. Dems had a good run of minimal scrutiny - That is OVER.

Jfc. Senate Dems really truly do want to be losers. They don't know how to fight. They are clueless cucks with no strategy, no cunning. AND THEY CUCK THEMSELVES.

I swear, they have a humiliation kink. And they're forcing us to participate in it without consent.

Went to repost this and then depressingly saw it was from 8 months ago. This is still true, and I am now convinced it will remain true until there are successful primary challenges nationwide to the "roll over and play dead" Dems.
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Honestly, seeing Senate Dems show their true colors tells me that these are the folks who would NEVER fight to get justice for what the GOP (ICE, Tr*mp) are doing to us now. They would Merrick Garland the post-Tr*mp era and gaslight us w/ "the GOP were misguided. Let's move on with unity!"
If you want to understand the fools establishment Dems take us for, and you want your blood pressure to hit the roof, read this absolute gaslighting from one of the "no" senators.

Senate Dems have one path to begin rebuilding trust: remove Schumer.

This thread is insulting @whitehouse.senate.gov
Many feel betrayal and frustration, and the feelings are hot right now.

I get it. I have my own feelings.

I told you that a bunch of these Democrats secretly wanted this bill, but they didn't have to vote yes bc 8 of them fell on the sword. The rhetoric coming from Dems right now is despicable. It's insulting.

Remove Schumer. Work to fix this. You all have destroyed trust and so many lives.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

If you want to fight for the ACA, then demand your colleagues reverse course and vote no on the next cloture, @whitehouse.senate.gov

Your colleagues abandoned this fight and betrayed the nation. You had a chance to hold the GOP accountable and you all threw it away. For what?
1. We need to fight hard for a good ACA extension early in December and hold Republicans fiercely accountable if they betray everyone.
November 11, 2025 at 12:18 AM
Senate Dems believe the GOP - a party literally dismantling our democracy to turn Trump into a king - can be trusted? Their foolishness is astounding. They also won't get the votes. They gave away everything for a vote that won't save the ACA. But their billionaire backers are loving this.
Whoa -- Sen. Durbin went to up Leader Thune during the vote last night to tell him that on the shutdown vote and ACA promise that "8 of us are sticking our neck out that you're going to keep your word. I hope you will. He said 'I assure you I will,'" Durbin says just now

This is what I said about Schumer's 1 yr extension offer + yesterday's Dem cave: they never addressed the recissions issue. Without that, all of this was empty. Johnson is also saying he won't allow an ACA extension vote.

Senate Dems caved for nothing. They caved for corporations' profit margin.
💯. It wasn't about just the ACA subsides—it was about those and … everything else.
