I agree with @ezralevin.bsky.social the Surrender Dems didn't fight for our healthcare. They won't fight to defend the results of the midterms when the fascist GOP will falsely claim they won in a classic autocratic move. They will roll over. Again and again and again. So what do we do?
Posted the same day we hear that they have launched "The Irish Goodbye": ICE waiting to catch immigrants who are trying to leave this country, abducting them as they cross the border. Don't forget corporations are being paid $150k/yr tax $$$ to keep immigrants in detention centers. It's a grift.

This is why I am transparent about where I earned my living, who I donate to, etc. I get that for people who aren't transparent, they would oppose a conversation about disclosure and ethics. There's an awful lot of $$ sloshing around that big creators don't want you to know they're taking.
It’s hard to demand transparency from others when you don’t have transparency yourself. I certainly reconsider listening to their content versus someone else who transparent. They’re not the only creators and they still rely on journalists from reputable sources. Often I’ll just read the article.

It's not sustainable to pay for every newsletter and Patreon you want to support. I subscribe to MANY and I am going to have to unsubscribe to some because it is costing me thousands of dollars a year (over $3000). More collectivist options need to be developed.

Social media creators don't have a code of ethics. They can take undisclosed dark $$, aren't required to check their sources/ issue retractions, can be entirely fake personas. When social media and "media" overlap this much, what is our responsibility to our audience? What ethics should we have?

Too many folks crowing about Noem possibly getting pushed out of DHS don't see the bigger picture. This is P2025 advancing. Push out women and minorities, replace with more cunning, sophisticated white men willing to do far worse.
