Imagine if the only way you could speak was to wait for someone else to say what you want to say then repeat it. GenAI robs you of your unique voice. It trains you to value someone else's thoughts & imagination. You might as well not exist because you are voluntarily extinguishing your own voice.

I'm not saying we can conclude anything, but based on the fact that the majority of emails in the Epstein files have "sent from iPhone" signatures, it seems like Android users are statistically less likely to be pedophiles.

The richest man on earth was too gross and sad to score an invite to kidrape island. It is our civic duty to remind him that we know this about him as often as possible for the rest of his life. Trust me: he cares.

"microtransactions in games started by cabal of pedophile elites for the purpose of indoctrinating kids into an economy"

Ok. Well, we all knew it was evil somehow but I really didn't expect Epstein to be responsible for why video games are bad now. That's just not what I would've thought.

The California State University system spent $16.9 million last year giving ChatGPT to all students, faculty, and staff. We are asking the CSU chancellor not to renew the contract with OpenAI when it expires.

Anyone can sign the petition — link below!
The CSU/OpenAI contract is set to expire June 30, 2026.

Sign this petition: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/cancel-chatgpt-edu-invest-in-humans/ for the CSU NOT to renew the contract and to use the savings to protect jobs at CSU campuses facing layoffs.

here is a foundational problem with AI art that AI cannot solve: anyone using it to make art cannot identify bad art. you learn how to recognize bad art (and improve as an artist) via MAKING art, which they have already fully rejected. the sets do not intersect.
You don't have the be an avowed AI hater to be impressed without lifeless and unwatchable this is.

It's good to know that so many people, when given the opportunity to choose a side in this conflict, decided to stand on the side of decency and morality. Those in power who started this never considered that most people aren't as selfish, solipsistic, or otherwise fucking broken inside as they are.
Last week in Minnesota, I watched ordinary people risk their lives to protect their neighbors. In the process, they not only won a significant—though not final—victory against authoritarianism, they proved virtually every MAGA social theory wrong. (gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

This has been a strange day. Began classes to earn a bachelor's, 1st time setting foot on this campus for nearly 20 years. At the end of the day I got a text that my uncle's life support was about to be turned off. I got to go say goodbye before they did it. Mixed emotions are an understatement.

More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”
