The load-bearing myth at the heart of UK politics is that the politicians and media are tolerant and decent and working people are knuckle-dragging bigots, but it's actually completely the other way around.
A man on the streets of the UK is asked about the “problem of immigration” and dismantles talking points with ease.

For example: this was the index created for the British Army for warning signs of extreme far right radicalisation in 2019. I notice it would’ve caught half of parliament and most of the commentariat even then, never mind now.

Hilarious
There’s maybe no better demonstration of how centrism works than a guy tanking any kind of positive agenda and his own personal likability to move from -77 to -76 approval from the center-right party
Keir Starmer's net favourability rating has dropped 12pts in a month to -46, his lowest level ever, including a 34pt drop among Labour voters

All Britons: -46 net rating (down 12 from 13-14 Apr)

By 2024 vote
Labour: -5 (down 34)
Lib Dem: -13 (down 12)
Conservative: -76 (up 1)
Reform: -94 (down 5)

This fucking awful populist narrative could've come direct from the dog shit reeking gob of Farage.

We still have over 750k job vacancies, over 100k in the NHS alone.

This bollocks is grovelling at the feet of fascists, not having the back of hard working Brits.

it makes sense that lincolnshire would vote for reform, a party that doesn’t believe in net zero, because if there’s one thing everyone can agree on it’s that lincolnshire being taken by the sea would be a good thing

A trans woman wrote to Wetherspoons to ask which toilets they're meant to use. Wetherspoons replied acknowledging the Supreme Court's verdict...and that trans customers can use whichever loos they want to but to please lock the cubicle door.

Labour now being outflanked on the left by Wetherspoons.
