Probably unreasonable ask, but are any illustrators open to a quick and dirty comm that would require a *very* quick turnaround time?

I'm talking, like, sometime this afternoon/evening

After putting up with Linux guys for 25 years, I am just this year starting to look longingly at Mint, SteamOS, and other Linux setups. That's how bad Windows has become.

if you played sonic the hedgehog and put down the controller, sonic would look at you and tap his foot impatiently. this was proof that sega genesis cartridges had souls. the decision was made to make the storage cases a lot larger than the cartridges so they would have room to move around in there

I would like to go further. There are really only two types of people: 1) those who work for money and 2) those whose money work for them. And if you have to work to provide and pay bills, you’re in group one and should ALWAYS stand in solidarity with the working class.
If you're Black in America and not making north of $100,000 (and have kids and/or own a home), you're essentially working class. I don't like the word "broke." Poor is more apt, I prefer working class because circumstances can change, but you'll never be considered "rich" -- it's tough.

Everything else wrong with this aside, if some part of this makes sense to you:

When you show your papers, and the ICE agent (who is accountable to nobody) says of your real government issued ID "that's a fake" and seizes it, what do you do?
Markwayne Mullin defends "show me your papers": "If you're here legally, there's nothing to hide. Most people already are walking around with a government-issued ID, meaning your Real ID or your driver's license. If you go board a train here, you gotta show your ID."

Those who weren’t resigned to the Math Idiot Garbage Bin as kids may not grasp how much “if you’re bad at math, you’ll die in a ditch and all will be better off for it” sentiment was floating around in the 90s and 2000s, but it sure felt real to me.

So cops can use biometrics to unlock your accounts, but not passwords or passcodes.
Why You Should Stop Using Face ID Right Now
Biometric locks like face recognition are easy to set up—but thanks to a legal loophole, they're easier for law enforcement to bypass than a passcode.

Or do you just ride it out like a normal person without several competing neuroses?

Buckle up folks, this is REALLY going to suck
If you haven’t been keeping up, the overpromising AI vendors are about to bring all their (VC lemming) resources to bear on the only use case that has produced anything near useful results: software development.
Our industry is about to enter a hell of its own making.
