THIS. And the fact that a lot of white movers and shakers in Den politics haven't realized this truth and gone ten toes down on affirming racial equality and equal opportunity is enraging.
Trumpism is a backlash against racial equality and equal opportunity. At it's core, it is a white nationalist movement that is prepared to destroy democracy to preserve white supremacy. Cockblocking candidates of color won't stop it or appease the people drawn to it. Please understand that.

The DOJ under Biden had effectively a less-than-2-month window *at most* where maybe they could have done it without risking Maxwell walking, but it still had the SCOTUS appeal. We really don’t know what other investigations were ongoing. And that’s before you get into Epstein’s arrest & death.

It took me 15 minutes just now to call Lindsey Graham, Tim Scott, Sheri Biggs, my 2 state senators (one of whom has a number that goes to their local farm & garden business 🤦♀️), & Gov McMaster. The calls themselves took less than 10 minutes but Gov McMaster’s line is so busy I was on hold a bit.
