Not if us white people continue to white people. The vast majority of us have proven repeatedly that we are void of moral character.
The reality is that 2024 was a fundamental test of the moral character of the nation and we failed spectacularly. We’re living with the consequences now. Maybe we improve. I hope so.

The reason I think we will never recover from Trump is that, unlike in post WW2 Germany, white Americans refuse to acknowledge and accept the parts of history that make them look and feel bad.

I really need everyone to understand that there are many Democrats in purple districts who do not think they could win reelection or any Democrat could win reelection if they vote against this DHS bill.

I hope the folks who were blocking bridges and protesting Kamala's speeches understand they did this - maybe they'll give you a beachfront condo for helping usher this in.
