This is the best photo that I can make and it’s not that good. Wish I could see the aurora here.

I looked for the aurora here in Paris but the city is either too bright, I missed it, or it didn’t hit over here.

I woke up today with a strong conviction that Luchable doesn’t have the letter N.

Nope, I just checked. It’s Lunchable. There is an N in there right where you would expect.

Why do our hearts so infrequently feel what we expect them too? Why does my body feel hurt as my soul feels relief? Why are so many divided and severed from the full honest acceptance of themselves?

My whole self is praying for you and I just don’t know the ways I will break when you pass away.

Kyle Kingsbury is not a journalist. He is not an op-ed writer.

He is a computer safety researcher.

And he has written one of the most compelling, comprehensive accounts of the ongoing hell in Chicago that you could possibly imagine.

In under 1600 words.

Does this case law make it legal to toss a sandwich at a cop? I hope so.
🚨🚨🚨 The jury has reached a verdict. Sean Dunn, aka the DC Sandwich Guy, has been found NOT GUILTY of assault.

It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

“It is! Do you have any jewels?”

Heed Samuel's words!
I spent years within the Pentecostal/Charismatic tradition of our Church. This is a needed call to reflection, honesty, acceptance, & repentance. Our global church can learn from this young expression of our faith, and much they can learn from our ancient expressions.

I woke up to a world where someone (former VP) chose to die instead of living in a world where Zohran Mamdani is elected the mayor of NYC.

The same NYC whose attack they used to justify the murder of hundreds of thousands of Muslims will now be governed by a Muslim with a beautiful soul and spirit.

This is what it’s like to work with French bureaucracy: complex and stupid at the exact same time.

I’ve lived in France for 11 years of my life. I said what I said.

The more Catholic and Christian videos I watch on YouTube here in France the more video ads they give me for adult diapers.
The Church here in France continues to rapidly age. lol. I’m doing my part for the Church, but it’s still funny to me.

Is anyone else keeping a mental list of the people they know who are hawking AI right now? Ooof.

My ability to trust their business/organization leadership is pretty much destroyed. I may feel different in a few years, but right now it feels like they are celebrating the antithesis of humanity.

We had a wonderful gathering last evening! It is available for reply over on YouTube. It includes vespers, eucharist, and a conversation around money, power, and those who hold them. A very important conversation for us Christians and monastics to meditate upon.
