ope just went to check temps and tweaked stuff already! haha
it’s really not ever a job you stop doing. i already have tweaks planned.
but it feels good to have her all set for a while, in a way that works better for her and us! there’s so much more space and we can see her so much better (though she still has lots of places to hide, bc tortoises need that!)

ope just went to check temps and tweaked stuff already! haha
today i made hazel a mixed greens salad and put on some special dressing. it’s the first time i tried this, all the supplements in a lil water then gave the greens a good toss. she usually is picky but ate whatever was in front of her instead of nosing through it eating only the best bits

according to bookface there is someone sneaking into an old gravel pit outside of town and blowing up tannerite and it's enough of it to shake houses in town. so that's neat.

ftr: the bad check was one my dad wrote, he'd opened a checking account in my name when i was a kid, which is legal.
i found out then that i had like 6 bank accounts in lil country towns i'd never even heard of let alone been to. he did that to keep money they couldn't garnish for child support :)

It's important to note that as awful as that number is, we do not have any idea at all how many people have died in ICE custody, and it's just a plain fact that you cannot believe anything this administration says. We may never know the death toll, and this is by design.

Just made a quick trip to La Alborada, my neighborhood mercado. I speak a little customer service Spanish and I usually wear a soccer kit or something friendly. Today I wore my whistle, and the lady who helped me in the hot case tapped her heart and thanked me.
