if you’re trans and flawed you are far more likely to get cut out of the social fabric immediately vs being allowed a tolerated -> reconciliation pathway

I complain a lot about how the left (broadly construed) needs to stop tolerating woo, and it's pretty common to hear "they're not hurting anyone" or "big ag/pharma does bad things" in response. But this shit hurts a lot of people---mostly outside the US, but increasingly within it.

Even if we ended meat-farming, traditional methods would not be able to feed our current population even if we transitioned all of our arable land to agriculture. Calling to end modern agriculture is essentially asking to kill the global poor.
