The annual General Synod meeting of the Scottish Episcopal Church is to be held outside Edinburgh for the first time in over 20 years.

From 11-13 June 2026, General Synod will be held in the main conference facility at the Stirling Court Hotel, on the University of Stirling campus.

I wish Pope Leo XIV well and will pray for him as he steps up to become both a church and international leader. May God sustain and guide him.

I pray too for our brothers and sisters in the Roman Catholic Church, that under Pope Leo our two communions may grow into ever deeper unity and friendship.
The election of Pope Leo XIV has been welcomed by Bishop Mark Strange, Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church.
