It is genuinely insane to see a judge describe Graham Linehan as a “generally credible witness” in a trial where he claimed Sophia Brooks has been engaged in “trans activism” since 2013 (when she would’ve been 6 years old), then, when challenged, claimed her drivers license lied about her age.

Posting about this and similar topics - at the other place, mainly - I am quite struck at the intensity of the hatred random dickheads still seem to feel for murdered civil rights protestors and dead football fans, the ones where the state was most directly and obviously culpable.
Much like Hillsborough, you have to marvel at how Britain as a system is so utterly impervious to accountability: decades of orchestrated bullshit, legal shenanigans and institutional roadblocks, and then one final great rasping fart of “maybe it was elves that did it, and fuck you”.

One thing that would IMO hugely improve the standard of The Discourse would be if we required everyone who regularly passes on the pissy comments of senior political anonymice to be branded with that MP or PR’s personal sigil, so that the public have an idea of who it is that may be speaking.
