I've just been on Radio 5 talking about Sesame Street, seconds before a news bulletin leading with Trump's pathetic demand for an apology or a billion dollars. Proof, in a rather convoluted fashion, that neither he nor his acolytes actually understand what it is that they're trying to 'fight'.

Would genuinely watch a movie-length remake of that Fingerbobs story with the crow very slowly depositing pebbles in a jar of water to raise it to drinking level.

Noble And Silver: Get Off Me! - turn-of-the-millennium anti-comedy Channel 4 oddity aiming to be an entirely different programme each week and even trying to avoid being a recognisable scheduled 'programme'. Fair to say it did not really find an audience.

The BBC, both as a radio broadcaster, and a TV broadcaster, didn’t start out doing news at all. News is the upstart department. Its job is to act as a national fireplace. And that’s properly vital now, more than ever.
I reckon a shared national popular culture is just as important (if not more important) than a fact based, impartial news service for liberal democracy to work.

Worth noting of the initial leaked memo that it does not detail the pronounced and demonstrable bias exhibited by Laura Kuenssberg and Chris Mason, the former of whom objectively broke impartiality guidelines and was not similarly called to account. Presumably it's fine if it's bias to the right.
