Also, ICE shouldn't have firearms at all in this context! They are a civil/regulatory enforcement agency. When they are doing domestic immigration enforcement, they don't even enforce criminal law!
My take on what is clearly murder: a bunch of insufficiently-trained ICE agents dog-pile — and subdue — the victim with multiple guns drawn (why were the guns out?!). One of agents accidentally discharges his improperly-drawn gun, spooks the rest, and then they all unload in to the unarmed victim.

Only speaking personally, but today’s execution isn’t scaring me from protecting our neighbors, as some suggest is ICE’s goal. Nor am I angry with incandescent rage, in that I know such rage is unhelpful. Rather, I feel like it has forced me to truly accept that the same fate might befall me.

If the person they murdered was armed - legally, I'll add - then the people who murdered him are well within their rights to raise a self defense claim at their murder trial and a jury of their peers can evaluate the evidence to determine whether the claim is credible.
