This is true for many veterans, even if no one ever sees it.

You never heard of the tea party?
Dems had the white house, senate & house.
So the least moderate republicans, a minority within a minority party, went hard against their own party, primaried everybody, and they took over their party, moved it to the far right & won 6 of the 8 subsequent elections.

The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

Joe Thornton doing his Hall of Fame speech. 😭
He really is an amazing person and player. His love for the game. His love for his teammates/GMs/coaches. His love for even a random person in the world of hockey.
His heart is just so big. Even for a giant. I raise my glass.

There’s a breaking point for holding to Democrats in protecting Americans from authoritarianism.
There can easily be an exodus to form a leftist party who has backbone. Who’d not only be more public in outrage, but would organize support *events* & supplies in a shutdown.
Dems have forsaken us.

I missed this awful detail in the Senate deal: helping politicians who conspired against America as part of Trump's coup hide their phone records.
That's right, as ICE brutally violates rights in ways that leave people with no recourse, the Senate found time to protect their colleagues from justice.

Buried inside the deal to reopen government is a provision that would give Senators private right of action to sue for millions in damages over their phone records being analyzed by Jack Smith's team.
