you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

I hope more governors do the same.
Last night, the Trump Administration sent a letter suggesting Wisconsin should return our FoodShare payments.

Mainers - vote NO on 1!
#MEPolitics: IMPORTANT - No matter who you vote for, if you value free, fair, and open elections, vote NO on Question 1.

You know what would really make America healthy? If RFK Jr. and his cronies fixed the broken health care system and made sure that everyone, not just special Trump supporters, could get the care they need.
Healthcare but only for my friends

You know who the real freeloaders in this country are? Not people who rely on SNAP, but corporations whose business model depends on wages so low that taxpayers have to feed their workers.

Just this morning I have seen posts from a small restaurant chain and a farm stand offering free food to those who will not be getting their SNAP benefits. These businesses have more compassion than most politicians.

Our local paper printed the full text of Question 1 this week. It would change so much more than requiring voter ID! I hope anyone who is considering voting yes on 1 will read the full text of what they are supporting. Here's another editorial urging a no vote. www.pressherald.com/2025/10/24/q...
Question 1 could jeopardize voting for many older Mainers | Opinion

A good reason to stay away from Portland, Maine, this weekend.
ALERT: Work in tourist biz in #Portland, like food service, or clerk/shop in the Old Port, or work/visit downtown?

Be aware there is a cruise ship docking on Sunday carrying the very contagious novovirus.

Novovirus is spread a variety of ways:

Saturday was the second time I was able to use the local "party pack" instead of paper plates & napkins for an event. Thanks to all the organizations and companies that helped support this effort.

I reuse to repost the video, but I watched it once and my jaw dropped. Has there ever been a more vulgar president?
Trump’s video seems like the fever dream of someone very self conscious about their loss of bowel control.

This misleading ad was in last week's Lincoln County News. To save absentee voting, Mainers need to vote No on 1! Question 1 would make it harder for many people to get absentee ballots.

The Speaker of the House has firm views that Bad Bunny is a terrible pick for singing at the Super Bowl, but hasn't had time to watch the President's speech to our military leadership or form an opinion whether furloughed federal workers should be paid or Illinois' governor should be thrown in jail.

"Question 1 is mostly about making absentee voting harder and that matters." Mainers, if you are undecided on Question 1, please take the time to find out what it would really do. I am voting No on 1.
I don't think I've seen a more relentlessly dishonest campaign than Yes on 1. It started with trickery that enabled them to get the anti-absentee ballot referendum qualified. They want voters to be misinformed about it and our election system. #mepolitics

Misinformation in Maine’s Voter Suppression Referendum Began with a Deceptive Title
Petition tactics hid absentee ballot limits. Question 1 proponents then used Newburgh ballots to mislead further.

The "vote yes on question 1" arguments I have seen are all terribly misleading. Question 1 will harm Maine voters.

Providing care to immigrants isn't why our health care system doesn't work.
ER doc here! This is a lie. Wait times are up because the American healthcare system is an unsustainable business model and a for-profit national healthcare system just doesn’t work. These problems will continue to get worse until we change that system. It literally has nothing to do with immigrants
Vance: "If you're an American citizen & you've been to the hospital in the last few years, you've probably noticed wait times are especially large & very often somebody who's there in the ER is an illegal alien. Why do those people get healthcare benefits at hospitals paid for by American citizens?"

My father proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. I'm pretty sure he knew it wasn't his job to "kill people and break things."
Hegseth: "A few months ago I was at the White House when President Trump announced his liberation day for America's trade policy. It was a landmark day. Well, today is another liberation day. The liberation of America's warriors ... you kill people and break things for a living."

Has any other president ever done something this offensive?
Charlie Kirk's grieving widow had just left the stage moments before the fireworks for Trump kicked off.

Just so wildly and blatantly inappropriate for a memorial service for someone else.

Fucking nuts.
