Oh please do this. He will throw so much ketchup.
Some thoughts:

1. The deadline for nominating a person or group for the Nobel Peace Prize is Feb. 1.

2. History professors are qualified nominators.

3. The people of Minnesota have been awe-inspiringly peaceful in the face of state violence.

4. He would be so mad.

Cool to see Kara and her guests still don't know WTF they are talking about.

Sure does seem Trump caved to "outrage", asshole.

I will donate 100 dollars to any reporter who yells "The Baileys think you suck" at any press conference Schumer gives.
The Baileys sending Chuck Schumer a gift basket of moldy apricots, Velveeta-infused vodka, and an ethically-sourced dead vole.
One must imagine the Baileys unhappy with Chuck Schumer. The Baileys holding up a big cardboard sign with FUCK YOU SCHUMER written with a red Sharpie. The Baileys blocking Schumer's number. The Baileys paying their next-door neighbor, a suburban witch, to place a curse on Chuck Schumer.

You guys aren't going to believe this, but @schumer.senate.gov and @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social are going to take an easy win made possible by the toil of voters, and turn it into a missed opportunity.

Golly, that's never happened before.

It is hilarious that Rep. Thanedar's impeachment articles for Trump have been one of the top three most viewed pieces of legislation in the entire Congress and they only have a single cosponsor.

These people are such complicit morons.

MacKenzie Scott will soon have a chance to do the funniest thing ever: buy a disused and abused paper, and run it competently.
From @status.news tonight, which has sources in the newsroom..

"Staffers at The Post are doing everything they can to get Bezos’ attention and persuade him to deploy his vast resources to avert the coming newsroom amputation."

We all sort of marvel at how what Kristol says is so on point now, but it shouldn't be surprising when you think about it.

The guy knows how to win. He and his pals dog walked Schumer and the rest of the Reagan addled Dem Boomercrats for 45 years.
The killing of Alex Pretti and the grotesque lying was an overreach by the administration. They've paid a price and had to pull back a bit. But it's when there's some disarray that the democratic opposition needs to intensify the offensive, and turn a marginal tactical success into a major victory.

One of the points of Altemeyer's research on authoritarian personality types is that they tend to exhibit much higher degrees of social conformance sensitivity. They really care about what's normal and they really care about both feeling and being perceived as normal.
Their biggest weakness is their massive self-soothing mechanism. They're convinced that everyone agrees with them but some people have been peeled away by propaganda and money

They just can't imagine earnest disagreement and coming across it not only confuses but spiritually harms them
The regime obviously thought they'd be able to take out a few dozen scary-queer-weirdo Antifa types in black masks and then successfully cow the rest of the Coastal Elite Liberal class into terrified silence: they were not expecting "totally fearless mass nonviolent resistance by entire cities."

You suck @schumer.senate.gov you fucking doddering weak loser piece of shit.
Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

So pathetic and weak.
Senate Democrats plot strategy as DHS standoff deepens heading into shutdown week
Two sources who were on a Democratic caucus strategy call Sunday said Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told the group the message must be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

For any elected official who needs to hear this, I impart a lesson learned from the NFL:

When the other team is tired and on the back foot, you don’t call a timeout so they can catch their breath. You grind their fucking face into the dirt until the final whistle blows and you’ve won the game.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.
