Schumer traded a 40 day shutdown with plummeting approval for the administration and Republicans for the promise to hold a vote on a messaging bill on ACA subsidies that the House will never entertain.

Maybe not great that our President is now threatening to sue foreign media to get them to change critical coverage.

The problem is, for a lot of these Senators, this could very possibly be the last Thanksgiving or Christmas of their lives, actuarially, and they don’t want to give them up to do their fucking jobs.

My wife and I just had back to back mini emergencies that were solved by keeping calm and figuring out solutions instead of panicking. Therapy: sometimes it works!
