They're building concentration camps with my tax money Chuck. They're torturing children. They're murdering innocent people on the street. What are you doing.
Our DHS reform demands are exceedingly reasonable.

We're asking ICE to do nothing more than follow the standards that the vast majority of law enforcement agencies already follow.

Republicans, the ball is in your court. The clock is ticking.

They're building concentration camps, Chuck.

Killing American citizens.

If ICE isn't following the standards that other agencies follow, then they're breaking the law, Chuck.

I don't want my tax dollars going to support any of this, Chuck. 4 out of 5 Democrats agree.

Waiting for a business to open. Overheard people discussing AI. One person raved about how much good it would do, especially in medicine.

Two of the older women present were nurses and they both said they were seeing an appalling lack of deductive reasoning and decision-making in young doctors.
AI has already killed people and it'll kill and disable more if we don't wise up. you've 👏 been 👏 had 👏
When AI was added to a tool for sinus surgery: “Cerebrospinal fluid leaked from one patient’s nose. In another… a surgeon mistakenly punctured the base of a patient’s skull. In two other cases, patients suffered strokes after a major artery was accidentally injured”

I thought about why I’ve been pushing back on stolen midterm fears. What’s the harm of worry, even if it doesn’t materialize?

It’s this. The regime has less capacity than it’d like, and tries to make up the difference with bluster. If people act as if it’s true, that grants the regime more power.
don't carry maga's water for them. don't try to work out how there's some secret loophole in the constitution that magically ends democracy. there isn't. that's the whole fucking point you fucking dopes

Fun facts about Carol Hart: Not only does she sell $1000 courses on how to AI generate books, you can also buy a ready-to-generate book outline for $1000, or, for $4000, a whole-ass autogenerated book ready for you to slap your name on the cover and release it.

RTV will have strict no generative AI rules. I don't know what they they will be yet, and the fact that I'm saying that tells you it is not @courtneymilan.com posting, but we will have them and they will be explicit.
And heads up, #Romancelandia! I know we’re all enthusiastically prepping for @romancingthevote.com 2026. If you’re willing to critique someone’s manuscript be sure to state clearly “No AI” or you may wind up reading the most terrible soulless shit.

With the increasing levels of historical censorship in the US, it is important to have as many bits of hardcopy preserving the truth as possible. One of the best publishers of high quality books preserving the American journey is the Library of America.

There's nothing "extreme" about not wanting to lose a gold medal because you had a cold.

To all the people angry that teenagers are protesting ICE during school hours:

If they can practice active shooter drills and learn how to tourniquet their classmates, they’re entitled to an opinion on how they’re treated.

“Collection of Handwritten Letters from Children in Detention Center” sounds like an exhibit in the Holocaust Museum.
1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.

Hundreds of kids are still detained.

We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵

This is horrifying for so many reasons. The one I'm thinking of right now is the billion dollars spent to torture and terrorize and imprison people could easily buy all of us healthcare, child care, parental leave, affordable housing ... all the things the Epstein Class swears we can't afford.
In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:

- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown

This is unprecedented.

Get Involved | Each. Step. Home.
Almost 10,000 asylum-seeking children are locked away in US detention centers. We get them out. Join us.
