Oh Calgary. I naively thought the old Sunnyside Greenhouses sign would stay up with the new development -- a nice nod to what once stood there. You know, local history. But when I drove by today, I noticed the sign is gone. Anyone have a better photo of it? This is from Google Maps #yyc

I'm trying not to be picky, especially since the Pumphouse theatre FINALLY got bike racks (a downtown theatre on the main pathway without racks???) but gosh do I wish that they either cleared them or at least didn't pile snow into some of them!

I've been well aware of this reality for years but I was still shocked to learn some time ago that 40 PERCENT of freight shipping is fossil fuels
I'll essentially just walk through the whole
"you only buy the solar panels and batteries once and then they harvest energy from the sun for free" thing, contrasting it with
"can't stop slurping oil outta the ground or all the machines stop" and stare intensely at camera while I ask which is better

This is the most wishy washy Liberal response I could have dreamt of. In terms of law, there's no difference between kidnapping Maduro and kidnapping Carney. We can't shrug when something illegal and insane is done to someone just because we don't like them, because EVERYONE needs to have rights!
