Today, the Trump administration repealed the endangerment finding: the ruling that served as the basis for limits on tailpipe emissions and power plant rules. Without it, we’ll be less safe, less healthy and less able to fight climate change—all so the fossil fuel industry can make even more money.

There needs to be some serious accountability for the colossal harm to life these absolute demons have caused, and will cause. Life in prison is the moderate option.

⌛️ Many died within the first year

😰 Preventable deaths were mainly from:

As we dig into this scandal, can we revisit the question about why the president's son-in-law, who has no formal role in this administration, keeps showing up at high-level negotiations with actual world leaders?
Breaking WSJ:

The highly classified whistleblower complaint against Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is related to a conversation intercepted last spring in which two foreign nationals discussed Jared Kushner, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.

my understanding from reading people in the know is that CBP was known as the place for fuckups who couldn’t hack it anywhere else and was considered a backwoods clown agency

now they’re being given infinite money, no supervision and - apparently - drone lasers

what could go wrong
In a normal government, this results in the resignation of multiple cabinet officials (Transportation, Defense, and Homeland Security), and the closure or (at least!) radical reorg of the cartoonishly incompetent agency at the center of it: CBP.

yep, they're still at it in LA and Portland too

the media is gonna be like "time for a new narrative" and it's so important to keep talking about how none of the cities they invaded have become more safe since the spotlight shifted away from them
ICE “left” Chicago in November, but they’ve disappeared three people from my community in two days this week.

Don’t believe the hype about them, leaving Minnesota, either.

She is also, to my somewhat trained ear, absolutely, positively terrified here. She is either intimidated by the process or deeply anxious about her relationship with her boss. Or both.

But she is terrified.

It would be the epic circus of all time to have Stephen Miller testify

But if Republicans won't do it before the midterms, the Democrats must when they take charge

The evil acts committed by ICE didn't occur in a vacuum. Someone in the administration gave the orders. Miller is the prime suspect
This is important. The head of CBP says here that his agency did NOT provide the assessment that led DHS to label Alex Pretti a terrorist looking to inflict mass casualties.

That appears to contradict Stephen Miller's claim that the initial assessment was based on CBP reports:

If WBD feels the need to respond to Dave Meltzer of all people, they know any pro-ICE posture is poisonous to their brand. What good is a merger if you kill yourself before the ink is on paper?

Seriously, when's the last time a network responded to a wrestling rumor? 🤼‍♂️

I don’t know if it’s true WBD kept Brody off the show last night or if it was just the usual Meltzer speculation treated as actual reporting but it does say something that they felt they had to respond to it. Must have caught a lot of heat. 🤼
WBD statement to POST:

“Warner Bros. Discovery did not have any involvement in Brody King’s upcoming AEW schedule. Any speculation to the contrary is categorically false. Brody is scheduled to appear during the next AEW event, which will air this Saturday on TNT and HBO Max.”
