This is the key point - it's not about Moderna's flu vaccine, it's about sending a signal to the rest of the industry that vaccine development isn't viable in the US. It's all part of the larger anti-vaccine agenda.
FDA's decision not to accept Moderna's flu vaccine filing has sent shock waves through pharma. "When there’s uncertainty about the path to approval & the reliability of the process, that really has pretty serious consequences,” one player told @jasonmast.bsky.social. www.statnews.com/2026/02/12/f...
FDA’s rejection of Moderna threatens to stifle broader vaccine industry
Experts say the FDA "moved the goalposts" on Moderna, creating "a destructive precedent that will undermine the future of vaccine development" in the U.S.

We need to stop referring to these people as centrist Democrats. They are advancing a right-wing agenda and should be referred to as such.
NEW: The “centrist” Abundance think tank pushing Democrats toward deregulation is run by a registered corporate lobbyist for OpenAI, Larry Ellison’s Oracle, and a crypto think tank.

As Trumpists moved the Overton window far to the right, and the Democratic party shifted rightward to absorb moderate Repubs, the right flank of the Dem party stopped being "centrist." It's now socially liberal and fiscally conservative with deregulation as a central goal. "Libertarian," basically.

I am wary of any politicians doing a victory lap today before we’ve seen on the ground that ICE has left. Their surety makes me think that they negotiated something and I think they owe it to us to be as transparent as possible about what that is.

I'm sorry but if you are a public commentator and your line in 2024 was like "pro-worker Republicans like Josh Hawley and JD Vance are building an interesting new labor-friendly lane for the second Trump administration" you are both dumb and dangerous and should retire

It doesn't explain his relationship to the rest of the human race but a big part of RFK Jr.'s broader damage is clearly trying to find out if he can die. I guess if I had lived a life like his and was somehow still around drinking out of puddles at 72 I'd have some questions on that as well.

RFK Jr/MAHA world say they're not reducing access to vaccines for anyone who wants them, only giving people "choice" to opt out.
But by refusing to even review new vaccines, yes, they are absolutely blocking those who want a new immunization from ever having access to it.

Considering his objection to Mamdani's politics is that he did not unequivocally back Israel in absolutely everything, I would say that's pretty racist, yeah. Not against Mamdani mind you, just the little nation Israel has chosen to systematically eliminate
"Chuck Schumer's refusal to support Mamdani was racist" is one of the stupidest fucking things I've ever heard - and that's a stiff fucking competition - because it requires you to believe "Schumer would have supported a white dude with Mandani's politics"

Every time I hear them do these scared pissbaby rants about their pissbaby squad, I think about how, if I were the one being questioned, my only reply would be "No, that's stupid. You're stupid for saying it"
Ron Johnson to Keith Ellison: "Two people are dead because you encouraged them to put themselves into harm's way! And now you are exploiting those two martyrs. You ought to feel damn guilty about it. Yeah, sit there and smirk. Smirk. It's sick! It's despicable. You disgust me."

Just going to note again, because somehow we've all completely retconned this and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, that pound-for-pound Biden had one of the most draconian border security regimes of any U.S. president ever, second only to Trump, *many of whose policies he inherited and kept*

Someone was abducted at 10 AM by ICE on Central Ave. Their coworker says they’ve lived here for over 20 years, are documented, and have 3 kids who were born here.

Don’t be fooled by headlines when they’ve been lying to us the whole time. We still need you out patrolling until every agent is gone.

In a reality-based world this would force a stated change in news outlets' policies not to ever use the phrase "DHS says" until their claim can be proven independently, but journalists' pro-police bias ("why would they lie, they have badges") remains a reliably strong constant in regime coverage
Marimar Martinez was shot by Border Patrol five times.

DHS accused her of being a domestic terrorist.

She went to court to get the body cam footage released.

It shows Agent Charles Exum driving with his gun drawn.

Saying “do something b*tch”.

Ramming her car.

Shooting her.

It shows DHS lied.

About "agitators" --

1. Homan can't even capitulate without threatening more illegal, military-ish force against people exercising their 1A rights.

2. I doubt it's unintentional that they continue to use a loaded term inextricably linked with segregationists and bigots.
He literally says in this clip that ICE will keep in Minnesota “quick reaction forces” — a military term — to go after “agitators.” Remember that those on the ground in MPLS have spent more than a week trying to tell everyone that Trump’s prior “deescalation” was a ruse and ICE is still operational
Homan: "Operation Metro Surge is ending. In the next week, we're going to deploy the officers here on detail back to their home stations or to other areas of the country where they're needed."
