2025 ended the same way it started: with the Canadian government fighting Indigenous people in court, trying to limit Ottawa’s legal duty to provide Indigenous kids with essential services. And losing, again. www.cbc.ca/news/indigen...

Since the Conservatives formed government, wage theft has has gotten worse. This means money stolen out of workers’ pockets due to corporate greed.

What’s worse is that the Ford Conservatives have allowed wage theft to unchecked by stopping proactive inspections and failing to recoup stolen wages.

What have you done to help people? You're cuts to programs will cost people their jobs & harm people. You're a fraud & will lose the next election.
This year, Canada’s new government has built crucial new partnerships throughout the world.

That means big new investments in Canadian industries, resources, and projects, and big new opportunities for Canadian workers and businesses.

I figure the reason dystopian fiction rarely shows how things got so bad is that it's mundane and incremental and boring and involved complacency and shrugs and rationalizations all along the way until it was too late. Kinda like now.

The absolute disconnect of a class of rich political commentators from the reality of America should be studied.

Ezra Klein who has been famously wrong about nearly everything over the last 5 years does not deserve a years salary for a talk.

There was a 0.0 percent chance Rodgers was allowing himself to be the quarterback sacked for the record.

In retrospect, it's kind of funny considering the man he replaced straight-up fell down for Strahan.
Classic Rodgers.

Missing the wide open player for taking a shot at ‘his guy’. Only surprise was it wasn’t a throw into double coverage.

Why is Jared at this table? Why is he in a position to determine the US position re Ukraine? And why was he part of the so called Israeli-Gaza peace deal? Was that actually a sickening Kushner/Trump real estate deal?

Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase did not catch a touchdown for seven straight games heading into Sunday's game against the Cardinals, but he put an end to that streak in the first quarter.

1962: JFK warns against lawless defiance. "If this country should ever reach the point where any man or group of men... can defy the commands of our court... then indeed the American experiment has failed."

2025: 63 years later, Trump is the embodiment of that warning.

When Intel’s Pentium had a bug so obscure it affected 1 in _9 billion_ long division calculations, they recalled their chips.

ChatGPT was made deadly *by its team*.
i don’t see how any of the benefits of chatgpt and other consumer-facing LLMs can possibly outweigh their incredible ability to induce suicides
