the bbc changed their article from saying 'trans woman' to saying 'biological male who identifies as a woman'.

even if you don't care about trans ppl it should alarm you just how captured the bbc has become.

they will no longer even say 'trans woman'. that's not normal and shows massive bias.

The response to this story has been wonderful! Thanks to everyone who has read and shared it.

And thanks also to all new subscribers!!
NEW: I wrote about British churches installing heat pumps, in some cases in 1,000-year-old buildings! Decarbonisation may not be easy, but many view it as an act of faith.

This is a special feature to mark The Reengineer’s first anniversary! Spread the word! 🥳

Congratulations to Lidia Morawska, the Aussie scientist who alerted the world to the airborne nature of COVID-19. Winner of the Prime Minister’s Prize for Science. I’ve learnt so much from being a (very minor) part of Lidia’s team. Brilliant, incisive, generous.

This couldn’t have happened without all the insanely hard working people at LGBTI Legal Service - you won’t see them mentioned much, but they made the legal challenge that led to this decision possible. They are the most under-funded org I have ever seen (yes, worse than the arts). Support them.

Daniel Goldman went onto CNN earlier *TODAY* and said

1) He isn't sure if he'll vote for Andrew Cuomo
2) And that he won't endorse Mamdani because Mamdnai has not done enough condemnations of anti-Israel violence
