An eight-week old staghound - tiny - asleep in the corner of a big-dog bed, on a folded up blanket with front legs outstretched. So much room, so tiny. The same staghound as an adult, resting his head against his owner's face. His head is bigger than hers. His forehead is against her cheekbone, his nose is next to her chest. They are both on a (human) double bed.

We settled yesterday. The house is, legally, ours. Let's see how the hoard clearance is going...the bedroom, where there were so many clothes and dead mice that both were hanging on hangers is still looking pretty bad. Oh dear.
