I have listened to the kpop demon hunters soundtrack like 100 times. I was never a fan of soda pop as catchy as it was. But my husband recently pointed out it is referencing the demons want to drink the humans souls. Mind blown!

Scientists should be saying “it’s time to look at the psychological impact on people of using these things” these people arent on to anything. They’re lonely and desperate.

Hmm Telstra no longer allows access to their secret starter plan (cheaper than cheapest online) without a concession. But if you have a health card or pensioner card on top they will knock $19 off. Im kinda stuck with Telstra as my folks wont change and i manage the account so have to be in it

If we are rebooting never ending story, can we not kill Artax and NOT scar a generation of kids. Settle for scarring them via a terrifying expensive CGI nothing instead that literally sucks the light into itself.

Here is a rare example of women being the focus of science and medicine and men missing out: males can get HPV. They can pass it on to females who can get cervical cancer. Or the males can develop reproductive cancers too. But whilst there is a test now for HPV itself (papsmear doesnt look for HPV)

When I was 4, Mum's best friend lived next door. I played with her kids. She died in an iron lung at 26. My aunt was in a leg brace from age 3. My best friend wore a back brace for years. My guy's aunt died at 28. She had 3 kids.
All from polio.
It's horrific.
Vaccines are life savers. USE THEM.

And Thanksgiving was a raging success. A lot of skepticism about the sweet potato mash and marshmallow topper but once they tasted it… the Turducken was a beast so we will be having turducken tacos tomorrow though

So ive seen the musical 5 times, but watching the movie ending today i realised that the ending is that the coloured girl with all the actual talent and morals couldnt get anyone to listen to her so the pretty white talentless girl had to do it because everyone trusted her. At least she got the man?

Wonder it any previous years vax might offer even a little protection against subclade k
November 22, 2025 at 3:55 AM
I hope it includes not calling things vaccines which arent. Vaccine hesitant parents might be more open to protective antibodies, similar to what you get in breast milk/colustrum from mum.

Imagine, if you will, that NASA updated its website to suggest gravity might not exist, prompting CalTech and CERN to release statements saying, "With great sadness, we can no longer recommend listening to NASA."

This is what's happening in epidemiology.

A calculator is trained on a set of agreed apon rules. The times tables, bodmas etc. you enter the commands it will always follow those rules. Imagine if every calculator was programmed by a different person and their memory of those rules. Not all of them passed highschool maths. Thats ChatGPT.
November 21, 2025 at 9:16 PM
Nope. It is like asking 1000 people to do the calculation. 980 know how to do it properly. 10 of them make a mistake using the calculator. 20 have no clue at all. ChatGPT is like rolling the dice on which answer you get each time.

No single person, especially someone with zero expertise, should be able to just change the CDC website on a whim. The fact that federal health and science pages are no longer trustable is a catastrophe for public health and democracy.
