work in progress sketch for a pixel art illustration by Zoë Treez - 2025 very loosely draw, mostly in greyscale, a background is loosely scribbled with implied silhouettes of trees, a castle and a figure floating above the water. the figure is in armor and carries a large sword. this was the first pass of this concept and was very roughly drawn as a warm up at first. same work in progress but worked on a lot more, pixel art illustration by Zoë Treez - 2025 the composition is left the am same as the previous image but now several hours later have passed. the background has developed a lot more. with details in the water, grass and trees. The castle has more definition and shape. Lighting from the large moon is starting to shape the background a lot more. the figure now has red armor, deep blue hair and the sword has more definition. although it is way further in the process than the first image, there is still so much to do. how exciting! the point is to attack your art fearlessly. you’ll get their eventually.

I have uterine fibroids that causes excessive bleeding and fatigue, POTs and PTSD from Covid turning into long covid and causing my health problems. I was working two jobs prior to not working until it caught up to me and I ended up in the ER with a heart rate that wouldn't slow down until I had to take medication. I have been trying to get on disability since. A year later I started to caretake for my disabled child by myself as well. I had help previously but it wasn't working out and l've had to do a lot of it on my own, now I'm stuck in a situation where working isn't possible for my health and while I'm already caretaking for my disabled child that needs constant care. I did not ever envision this happening to me and have always worked hard to take care of my family but now I'm in what feels like an impossible situation trying my best to take care of my kids and myself so I can stay around for them as long as possible. Im not enjoying coming online asking for help but I have no where else to turn. I'm doing Screenshot of text that reads: have no where else to turn. I live in California which is a bit expensive but with the state of America right now I'm trying to stay where my trans child and disabled child are the safest. Any help is appreciated and keeps my kids and I surviving while waiting on disability or other options I'm pursuing to happen. I don't know what the future holds but as a mother I'm doing everything I can to keep my family together, healthy and happy. Even if it means coming online and begging for that help.
