As an offshoot of this thread, let’s talk about what happens if federal, state, or local officials text, email, call, or show up at your door wanting to talk to you about what you said about the President.

I have a theme, a thesis, a throughline, a leitmotif, which is SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH.

This is a First Amendment question combined with a practical question. The answer is as follows.

First, the First Amendment protects advocating the moral and practical necessity of breaking the law in the abstract.

Using AI on Notepad is like … I don’t know, carpeting the room your water heater is in. You do not need to do it, and all you do is create more opportunities for something bad to happen.
In fact the whole point of notepad is that it is as barebones as fucking possible.
The AI features added to Notepad created a critical exploit vulnerable to loading a compromised txt file.

The fix is part of Patch Tuesday, so update your systems.

AI is not a feature I ever desired in Notepad. I should look into some alternatives...

If there was ever going to be any proof that WikiLeaks is essentially dead, it's the Epstein files. Integrating this sort of data and making it searchable is right up the organization's old alley.

The good news is that @ddosecrets.org and @dropsitenews.com joined forces with Jmail to do just that.

Lovely thread 🥰

Minneapolis is great, I've put down roots & they're growing, it's home now too -- but Houston will *always* still be home.
Shit, if not for Texas politics I'd happily live there. I cannot emphasize enough the generosity of spirit and hospitality I have encountered when I have found myself in Texas. Texas is your uncle with some improbable stories who loves you and tiny animals but has a parole officer who's a real dick.

it's so, so, so frustrating how they act like people applying for asylum are subject to removal proceedings. that is not the law!!!!
Just heard back from DHS on why they abruptly expedited Ramos' asylum hearing:

“These are regular removal proceedings. This is standard procedure and there is nothing retaliatory about enforcing the nation’s immigration laws. He will receive full due process."

(This is not standard procedure.)

Most of all, she wanted to be reunited with her cat, Milo. 1/

all these emails between academics and Epstein are more testimony of what women in academia have to contend with 😡

They didn’t nominate “the city,” they nominated THE PEOPLE OF the city. The distinction matters, not least because “the city” seems to have forgotten that the whole damn metro area is resisting the occupation, which is something THE PEOPLE of Minneapolis are constantly reminding out-of-towners
