The issue with MTG is that she shows no repentance, or change in views about our shared ethics or beliefs, or commitment to democratic values that would illustrate real change or growth. Just suddenly saying “orange man bad” can’t be a magic incantation to grant entry into the Big Tent.

If that’s all it takes to clear the bar for “liberal democracy,” then “liberal democracy is not good enough.
