This is not materially different from Josef Mengele. The concept is to deliberately expose people to serious harm so you can gather more data on what you already know will hurt them. It's not some big coincidence the Nuremberg Code expressly prohibits everything resembling this kind of "science."
RFK Jr. appointee Kirk Milhoan has just clearly stated, out loud, that he wants to experiment on the people of the United States by seeing what happens as vaccination coverage plummets and infectious diseases spread.

Another day, another outrage; ICE under Trump is going to deport dozens of people to Iran, including two gay men previously arrested by the regime who face the death penalty for their orientation, and despite the ongoing crackdowns which have killed thousands.

An administration of total inhumanity.

Pouring more money into DHS while it operates with impunity and a blatant disregard for human life is unconscionable.

You don’t fix abuse by funding it. You stop it by cutting off its funding and dismantling the institution that’s terrorizing communities.

House approves spending bills despite many Democrats' objections to ICE funds

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.

I think the Board of Peace is one of those things that’s not unconstitutional, but anti-constitutional.

It is not clear to me this org obligates the United States to do anything like a treaty. But, entering a multi-national working group where Trump is chairman for life violates enduring values.
US law requires 2/3 Senate approval for international treaties
Trump’s Board of Peace has now officially been recognized as an international organization, according to the White House.

There you have it, the Board of Peace is nothing more than a corrupt real estate deal dressed up as diplomacy with the sole purpose of enriching Trump and his favoured cronies.
Trump makes concluding remarks. He says Gaza ceasefire push began because he is “a real estate person at heart, and it’s all about location, and I said, ‘look at this location, on the sea, look at this beautiful piece of property’”.

They are targeting children because they are trying incite violence. I have talked to many journalists today, and they all made the same observation: Border Patrol and ICE have been rolling around with maximum aggression, lingering for ages as crowds, gather, seemingly trying to cause a riot.

Is it @startribune.com policy to refer to anyone confronting ICE as a protester? This obscures the nature of what people are doing. We're not protesting ICE. We're constitutional observers documenting human rights abuses by agents of the state.

The TACO cycle:

Markets want to price in TACO. But TACO only works if Trump sees stocks tank.

So we get a loop: Trump does things → nothing happens (markets already priced in TACO) → that emboldens him to do more → until markets start to think he might not TACO → stocks fall → TACO is restored.

said it before but I'll say it again, 40 PERCENT of global bulk shipping is fossil fuels. wind & solar + batteries is maybe the most disruptive tech in history
The most important technological revolution of our lifetime has nothing to do with AI:

Important to realize also that, once constructed, solar infrastructure just keeps working*, for decades, with very little additional cost. There's no need for a constant stream of inputs like fossil fuels.
Check this one fact out:

"In 2024, the total installed electricity capacity of the planet—every coal, gas, hydro, and nuclear plant and all of the renewables—was about 10 terawatts. The Chinese solar supply chain can now pump out 1 terawatt of panels every year."

There is no excuse not to cover every data center roof with solar panels; not just to generate free electricity to power it but because solar roofs can decrease the temp in industrial buildings by acting as a shade during the day and act as an insulator to help retain internal bldg temps at night.

I have been told that this undercover ICE agent tried to get observers to scan a QR code “for his website”. The QR code did not resolve to a link.

DO NOT SCAN UNKNOWN QR CODES FROM STRANGERS.

This is a massive security risk! Bad things can happen to you if you do it!

Stay frosty, friends.
Every day some story breaks me some. Today it’s the guy who approached parents at a school patrol, told them he was with Indivisible, and asked about how the patrol system works. The parents gave vague answers, followed him back to his car — and of course it was ICE.

Imagine if Biden had confused Iceland for Greenland multiple times in an official speech and the nonstop headlines and coverage *just that* would have gotten from the press and yet the only press Trump gets is to sane-wash his mob style threats into willfully naive assurances of non-violence 🤬
Remember what I said about how when Trump falters, the media inserts a fake, imaginary version of Trump into the news instead?
Right on cue, here are the push alerts from the 3 major newspapers lmao

Even after Trump is gone, the world will remember that he threatened to forcibly seize the territory of a peaceful democratic ally, and our institutions failed to immediately remove him. That makes US dangerously unreliable, not just one senile gangster.
His not being impeached by the end of the business day as a result of this threat is as much a problem as the threat itself. It’s not just Trump that the world has to worry about, it’s a GOP that supports him and Democrats who suck their thumbs and refuse to even discuss pushing to remove him
