Former policy wonk
Bush gifted the U.S. ICE, DHS, an economic collapse, death and destruction in the Middle East, the proliferation of assault rifles, Chief Justice John Roberts, and Justice Samuel Alito.

Your implicit message is that no one should react and everyone should just defer to the lying ICE/DHS and to the local police who protect them?

I actually think that everyone should watch it. Every American should see exactly what it looks like when masked government thugs murder a citizen in the street.
NEW: Second video shows ICE shooting in Minneapolis. A woman, a U.S. citizen, was killed
January 7, 2026 at 6:30 PM
Everyone should see it. DHS straight up lied about what happened and the first news stories about it are using DHS framing for their stories. No one can watch this and think that it’s anything other than murder.

The degree to which the ICE Nazis barely react to the shooting and the crash is haunting

ICE should be abolished for everyone’s safety

Canada has a Minister of Women and Gender Equality, @rechievaldez.bsky.social. If she’s not forcefully advocating internally for the government of Canada to delete its entire presence on X, then what’s the point of her job?

Integrating gambling into professional sports is bad enough. But into the news? How does any self-respecting journalist stay at CNN now?

Putin has more power, territory, and money than Trump. Why would he stop so long as he’s still in 2nd place in any category that matters to him? The whole world is Epstein island to him and other countries are just more girls and women to take.

Trump is just a gaping maw, made of pure appetite. Why does he want Greenland? Because he thinks he can take it. He’ll take as much as he can get. He’s a rapist and a crook who has always gotten away with his crimes. So long as there’s someone else who has more than him, he’ll be unsatisfied.

"impeachment should be abandoned, it didnt work the first two times" = we all remember when the civil rights/suffrage movements gave up after the first two protests didnt work.
January 7, 2026 at 2:32 PM
I’m in a country that’s been directly threatened by the U.S. and you want me to have sympathy for Americans who won’t even do the most basic things to push back on their government like sustained protest or boycotts of any kind because it wouldn’t yield immediate results? Sorry, but no.
January 7, 2026 at 2:21 PM
The French will shut their country down over things like pension reform but Americans won’t protest for more than one day over the fascist takeover of the society?
January 7, 2026 at 2:21 PM
Well, what you’re saying is that it’s pointless to protest because the power structures won’t immediately capitulate. So why should the world have sympathy for you if you’re saying you won’t even stand up for yourselves?
January 7, 2026 at 2:21 PM
I saw one massive No Kings protest. That shit should be happening daily, but it’s not.

The world looks at the U.S. and sees an imperial president enabled by one of the two parties and all of the institutions of American life. If the democrats won’t talk about the structural changes necessary to ensure this never happens again, the world will never have faith in the U.S. again. Never.
