Trying to post more here, it's hard to break old habits. I've been at Magic Con Chicago this weekend. It's a blast. Played tons of games, met nice people, cracked packs, met artists, got cards signed, saw some cool shows live, and even got a new tattoo. Expensive weekend but 10/10 would do again.

When Democrats basically claim they can only exercise political power under optimal conditions, they’re admitting they’re useless since the U.S. political system is set up to almost always be difficult/less than optimal. Repeat after me: "All billionaires only care about enriching themselves and advancing their own investing and interest and will burn the planet down and make everyone a mindless drone if it makes them a buck." Otherwise known as: There ae no good billionaires. They are dragging humanity down.
If you have zero education, but learn how to ask AI models the right questions , in many jobs you will be able to outperform someone with an advanced degree, but who is unwilling to use Large Language Models.
Just takes a smartphone, curiosity to experiment and a mindset to learn.

Maybe eliminating the need for student loans and making it easier for anyone to have access to advanced education might be a good idea.
It would certainly be cheaper than building all this AI nonsense. Better for the environment too.

An important clarification on what federal employees mean when they say "probationary period."
In tech, we're very reluctant to promote an engineer from say, level 5 to level 6, until we have enough time to know that the level 6 performance is sustainable.
