The insincerity and fakeness of legit virtue signaling is really annoying to me, but the majority of the time I see people using the term, it's just this: a way to be dismissive of someone who cares about other people. It's a criticism of empathy.

Just working on some protest signs for the protest tomorrow here in Vancouver of HootSuite, who have taken millions from ICE to increase their ability to keep an eye on what people are saying about them online. (Friday, 3 to 5pm, outside their HQ at 111 East 5th Ave, here in Mount Pleasant)

It wasn't as easy as one might even think, actually! haha. I spent a couple hours on it. Probably would have taken just as long to actually draw it from scratch, but I like the look of it.
