Petey was really good. I can't say "great" when their star forward got 5 points and ours got nothing, but it is what it is. Really proud of this team. Hung with the Avs all game and their work ethic was 100%.

But it's not just the comic nerd in me that is loving this. The movie geek side of me is jazzed that Mamdani's mom is THE Mira Nair!? Director of Mississipi Masala (1991) with Denzel Washington, and Salam Bombay! (1988), and Monsoon Wedding (2001). The man is supported by female titans.

Agreed. And Luke Evangelista should be ashamed of himself. Diving like that has no place in the game, and not only was he not punished for it, he was REWARDED with the powerplay that resulted in the tying goal. Just disgusting. These types of faked injuries are making hockey more like soccer
