2C by 2050 means 2 billion deaths.

We’re heading for 2C in the next decade.

Blows my mind that this doesn’t dominate global conversations.

And I’m losing hope that it ever will.

Frogs in a pan.

But let's do what you want and do away with paid parking in hospitals.
So no security staff. No lighting and no cctv. Which js what the hospital car parks I worked at in the 90s were like.
Is THAT safer for nurses on nights.
Also not all nurses are female these days. Its not like Carry On Matron.

Oh and to pay for all the cctv, security and maintenance, which core service do you want to divert money for parking from?
The cardiac wars perhaps?
Or cancer care?
Or maybe the children's ward.
Yea let's treat fewer sick kids so you can have free parking.
What a win eh?

Drivers when they have to pay to park at the hospital (usually with exemptions for long admissions, disabled parking, etc.)

vs

Drivers when people who don't or can't drive have to pay as much or more for a bus that goes near but not to the hospital or have to pay several times more for a taxi

There is speculation that the introduction of driverless cars could lead to jaywalking laws in the UK

65% of Britons would oppose making jaywalking a minor offence, including 41% "strongly opposed"

Only 24% are would support such rules

The UK was declared measles free in 2017.

Vaccine programs completely eliminated it.

Since then, pro sickness conspiracy theorists and anti science idiots have enabled its return.
“Seven schools and a nursery have reported more than 60 suspected cases of measles in an area of north London, and labs have confirmed 34 cases since January 12. Some children have been treated in hospital.”

Money in the NHS is so unbelievably tight currently. It's actually worse then before Labour won the election.
And people like Peter who can't see past a steering wheel want to make car parking free.
I'd like him to explain where the money would come from?

Jaywalking is not a thing in UK law.

The main argument against rejoining the EU is that it would "embolden Farage".

Bullshit. It would expose Farage.

It would force him to oppose the majority of voters, remind them that his last "Great Crusader" left us poor and powerless, and force him to admit he wants us to remain that way.
