A set of chicanes on a suburban Stockton street is failing to slow down traffic and is causing more accidents than it prevents, say residents.

The story the world over.
“Studies consistently show that streets with bike lanes are safer for everyone than those without. The voices who complain the loudest about Montreal bike lanes tend to be those who don’t actually live — or vote — in the city.”

More than 250 people die each year in UK drink-drive crashes. Every death leaves a devastated family. Soft drinks are available. Surely no responsible pub needs a drink-driver’s trade? Anyone arguing for a different drink-drive position should meet with a bereaved family and see the lifelong impact.
