As a former pilot/avgeek, I can absolutely assure you that this is wildly abnormal. I can't even begin to guess what justifies a no-fly zone for 10 days, esp this big.
If this were any other administration it would be "head for the shelter" levels of alarming, but in Trumpland it's just Wednesday.

The airspace over El Paso airport, Texas, has been suddenly closed by the FAA for ten days, closing the airport too. The airspace has been defined as "National Defence Airspace". Nobody knows why.

A simple proposal for federal judges frustrated that Trump Regime isn’t freeing people in response to habeas corpus orders:
Order that DHS bring each individual to court for their habeas hearing. If the judge grants habeas, the petitioner walks out free.
Bonus: huge pre-hearing burden on feds.

I recorded this today, in Portland, Oregon, at a huge march to the ICE facility in SW. The crowd was full of cyclists who had ridden there in memory of Alex Pretti; members of several labor unions; and ordinary citizens of every age, including this little girl. So of course ICE deployed tear gas.

I'm so frustrated by this. The Dem position is "the Republican immigration policy is great, but we should enforce it a bit less harshly." That's all they've got. Even the protests are focused on ending enforcement of the ridiculous status quo, rather than changing it root & branch
There's something that is so Congress-brained that they're going to claim a win on a law that says ICE has to follow the law, a thing which I am sure they already had to do
