I am cashing every chip I earn in with the next administration to insure we get a brutal Democratic Attorney General that makes this type of prosecutorial abuse seem like child's play. It's all I want. They don't have to pay me for loyalty. They just have to do this.

Really unnerving point from Nicole Hemmer, historian of the right: Trump's Epstein fiasco could drive MAGA to push him to go even fuller authoritarian, because the whole project is now in such serious doubt. She's so good on MAGA's future.

I support proposals 2-4 on the NYC ballot, which would make it moderately easier adjust zoning for higher-density housing development. I have to say, seeing how controversial this is among people I know is giving me some new sympathy for the angry YIMBYs online.

This pretty much sums it up. Americans think that Democrats care too much about "far-left" issues like those pertaining to the LGBTQ community because those are the issues that twitter-media complex focuses on, usually at the behest of the right wing.

It's hard to make this point in a way that doesn't sound like a threat, but it's just a fact that for centuries the wealthy in America worried that the mob would come get them and did all they could to avoid that fate.

lol what the wealthy today don't seem to understand is part of staying wealthy in society is not pissing off the masses.
There's a reason why Carnegie and the Rockefellers poured money into institutions. Gutting institutions and making it harder for the masses to survive is a...choice.
