It’s important to achieve bipartisanship with Republicans so they can arrest Barack Obama for something they read on the Epoch Times’ Facebook page written by a Chinese cult member in 2019.
Breaking MSNBC:
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida called a division-wide meeting this afternoon, following the resignations of two prosecutors who were asked to take part in a vast "conspiracy" investigation into former intel and law enforcement officials.

This is what a bunch of Democrats in the Senate just voted for:

Spending Bill Would Pave Way for Senators to Sue Over Phone Searches
Republicans have voiced outrage that Jack Smith looked at G.O.P. lawmakers’ phone records surrounding the Jan. 6 attack. Legislation to reopen the government would allow them to sue for $500,000 each.

“Performative reading” reminds me of accusations of “virtue signaling.” First, you can’t actually tell whether someone is doing them without reading their minds, and second, even if they are doing it, that’s good. Reading and virtue are good and should be publicly and socially encouraged.

I’m watching Hakeem Jeffries fight for his life to defend the Senate Democrats. Naturally their inability to fight is due to the Republicans 🙄

It’s risible reading accounts of the Senate Democrats’ “strategy” in caving on the shutdown. Because the Republican strategy was “Wait for the Democrats to cave.”
It’s always a good strategy.

SCOOP: Schumer was more involved than reported with the attempted cave on the government shutdown. The Gang of 8 Senate Dems had his approval & he was getting daily updates.
In Thursday's caucus meeting, the Gang claimed they had 10 votes to cave. The caucus went nuts, leading to the new proposal.
