the entire contradiction at the heart of the last 15 years of dem dysfunction has been simultaneously insisting the only mechanism for punishing republican malfeasance is the vote while also adopting a posture of bipartisan comity with those very politicians voters are supposed to be disciplining.
he should be saying their failures to act are grave violations of their oaths of office, a disgrace to the senate, blah blah blah. he should be making the case to the public to be mad, not dumping it on our laps and saying “you do something about it”

MAGA has essentially destroyed the West

Which you might think is a funny irony given they are always going on about the inherent supremacy of the West, but that's because they are just useful idiots that those who hate the West have tasked with destroying the West.
Watching the withering of Atlanticism in real time is quite depressing tbh

The power of propaganda

Propaganda exploiting racist prejudices in the UK convinced them to remove themselves from the EU, leading to a nearly immediate drop in political influence and quality of life.

And in the US, propaganda exploits our many prejudices to convince us to destroy ourselves.
It’s genuinely wild that the United States spent decades building an elaborate rules-based international order which de facto cemented its permanent status as the dominant global hegemon, sustained by ideology rather than might, and now is just blowing it all up for literally no reason

Well don't tell them that, you're only making them want to do it more.

At this point I'd say it's highly likely and people need to prepare to resist the US military invading Greenland.

What a coward.

I like the guy in general, but this is a really spineless weak move at a time when this country desperately needs strong opposition.

Hopefully this just clears room for someone willing to actually fight.

I do support the death penalty for corporations.

When they murder people, let's dissolve them. Break them up, destroy their technology, nationalize their assets.

Every member of Congress not calling for impeachment and removal is failing their own oaths of office.
Trump: “We need Greenland from the standpoint of national security, and the European Union needs us to have it. And they know it.”

Where’s Congress?

There is absolutely no good reason not to nationalize America's oil companies. At least then the government would control them rather than the other way around.
Reporter: Did you speak with the oil companies before the operation? Did you tip them off?

Trump: Before and after. They want to go in and they’re going to do a great job.
January 5, 2026 at 4:58 AM
And yet Congress is full of stupid assholes who think doing nothing but stomping their feet and huffing and puffing on TV and social media is enough of a show to convince people to vote one of them into the presidency.

No current Dem Senator is qualified, and none of them have earned your support.
Senator Chris Murphy openly admits how pathetic Congress has been about standing up to presidents from both parties on war.

CNN:  Congress has become, frankly, impotent on issues and matters of war.
