ones with for loops, where no-one uses the for loops

and ones without for loops, where everyone wishes there were for loops

Holy shit. This guy saved a PNG to a bird.

(he drew a bird into a spectrogram, played that sound to a starling, and the starling reproduced it back to him with enough accuracy he got his bird drawing back in their call's spectrogram) www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCQC...

When are they rewriting Unix `tee` in Rust? It’s only 350 lines of code. 🦀

Seems to me like the easiest way to achieve memory safe tee everywhere. 🙃

This is literally what the best of the best support, escalation, and incident response engineers do. It sets them apart. It makes them the SWAT team of the org. It's why execs demand them, specific ones, on calls.

Take. Ownership.

This implementation would be really simple... if only we had a different kind of mutex.

New one for me: flight officer realizes they're not allowed in the destination country just prior to takeoff, so we got to taxi back and wait for the airline to find a replacement.

this is an underrated key to things Dems need to be doing right now

these assholes have abdicated their jobs and let Elon rip out the government’s guts, and they are susceptible to neither shame nor scolding

make them miserable, force them to be there all day every day to counter you

Meanwhile when my other Gran died her daughters fought FOR DAYS over her recipe notebook that nobody was allowed to touch till they finally decided to just copy the recipes down & so they opened it & found out there was only 1 entry & it said "Book that I pretend has recipes"
For years I struggled to recreate my grandmother's recipes till I discovered that "tablespoon" in her recipe book didn't actually mean tablespoon but referred to this random goddamn spoon she had in her kitchen & all the other measurements in there had similar logic
